Mine HAMARAT
In my class I mostly use Direct Method while teaching English at primary schools. My English teacher in primary school used the direct method, it was a time when teachers in Turkey still had a lot of freedom in how to teach. For me it helped immensely. I didn't realize how much it helped until I started learning English with the "traditional" method (memorizing lists of dictionary words and grammar mnemoni.

In my class I generally use Audio lingual Method.Repetation is important .They learn faster by repeating. But I prefer not only Audio lingual method but also I use Total Physiacal Response.Students like acting performing. When they perform what they learn,They concept easier.I like also drama some mini dialogue.

I generally use tpr while I am teaching. Actually it depends on the age of the students. When they are younger, especially in primary schools I mostly use this approach. And I try to make them speak. Because younger children are more able to speak. When it comes to secondary school students, I sometimes use grammer translation with other approaches and methods while using complicated grammar and other exercises.

In my classes I use TPR and communicative language teaching most of the time, because I work with students aged 6 to 11. For the younger ones, it's best to use TPR. Communicative language teaching is also very important because children need language for communication and in the future they will use it to communicate with others, so they need real life situations. For some purposes, like teaching grammar, I use Audio Lingual Method. I combine different methods and I'm still trying to find the best one in order to help my students achieve their goals.

During my classes, there is no one way to teach English. The purpose of my students determines my methods. In my primary classes, Audio Lingual and TPR are my favorites. If my students are active and not bored, that's the way I love.

With primary school students, I like using TPR. They love being active in my classes. After TPR, I prefer using Communicative Language Teaching. They like small dialogues. I want them to talk in this language. I also use technology in my class. They see the context and listen to the people at the same time. We should be active and teach the language in an enjoyable way.

TPR method comes first among the methods I use in my lessons. Because students do not speak in the first place, students' understanding of the target language must improve before they speak. With this method, my aim is to reduce stress and support students' work. I direct my lessons by giving commands and avoid long detailed sentences. physical activities are always at the forefront of my lessons.

in my lessons,I don't have any specific teaching method. I use one more than. Such as, TPR,Audio-Lingual,Communicative Learning. I use TPR with 2nd graders much. Because they want to move and their attention span is less than others. I use Audio-Lingual method in ever class. Hearing and repetition are the most part of learning a new language. With 4th graders,I prefer to use Communicative Learning and Task-Based. They have more sense of responsibility and want to learn with speaking, task.

In my class ı use one more than method.(Direct method,TPR, audio-lingual) In my opinion, there is not a “magic” teaching method which applies in every learning environment since each classroom consists of different students each time; i.e, students with different learning style, aptitudes, etc..
I agree that when students create their own way of learning English, they create a learning environment via some tasks and projects. We will carry this to our classes.
